History by Tom Scott

Dunfermline Photographic Association is a club that is long-established and caters for a range of photographers from novice to international competitor.  We have beginners and professional photographers engaged in a range of activities. The club is affiliated to the Scottish Photographic Federation which enables access to a number of international competitions.

Over the years the club has evolved from film and slide to digital media. To keep up with change the club is this year introducing a mentoring scheme where members can get support in private. We are also introducing a calendar competition to stretch people’s imagination. This will sit alongside a series of tutorials and photo-shoots for all levels.

See Tom Scott’s history to get a more historical reflection on the clubs activities since 1926.
