Schools Competition

Update – 7th February 2018   –  Judging panel now chosen, David McConkey, David Bolton, Val McManus, Gillian Temple and Peter Stanford  who will have a casting vote in the event of a draw.  The judging panel will judge entries in early March (or late February if we have all images) At the same time the images will be printed and mounted for the exhibition that will be launched on 28th March. 

Update – 1st February 2018   –  Schools are now shortlisting 10 images that can be uploaded to  schoolscompetition@dunfermlinephoto.co.uk  any time in February. The judging panel will judge entries in early March (or late February if we have all images) At the same time the images will be printed and mounted for the exhibition that will be launched on 28th March. The sponsors (Carnegie Trust) have asked that shortlisted images should be accompanied with an explanation by the author. (a little bit about their image which can be printed alongside their entry for visitors to read at the exhibition) . Contact photos@pstanford.co.uk for enquiries or alternative ways to submit.

Update – 29th Nov 2017    Lunch time tutorials are now complete. Schools have the handouts and are in the process of collecting images from their pupils. In January 2018 the appointed school reps will shortlist ten images at each school for judging in February/March. Thanks to the schools for your warm response to  our tutorial and handout.  – Peter Stanford.
